Some of the Genesis Supreme campers and fifth wheels come pre installed with a solar panel installed on the roof. Many of them use the 190 watt solar panel and the Go Power PWM 30 solar controller. This can be found on the Rev 1/22 manual on page 127 (Chapter 11 Page 9).

Depending on your roof space and how many panels you have already installed, it may be possible to add additional solar panels to your Genesis Supreme. The 30 amp controller is capable of handling around three 200-watt solar panels.

  3. Mounting Hardware: Kits usually include brackets, cables, and connectors, allowing for a secure and straightforward installation on an RV roof.
  4. Inverter (Optional): Some kits provide an inverter to convert DC power to AC, suitable for powering standard appliances.
  5. Compatibility: These kits are often compatible with various battery types, including lithium, ensuring flexible energy storage options.

RVer On The Road Tip An easy way to test a battery charger in an RV when camping, is to unplug the RV from shore power and turn on the 12-volt lighting. Then plug the camper in, if the lights get brighter the converter is most likely working properly.
